Snackdinner is a resource for people who want to be better researchers and better parents. Currently sharing her articles through her blog and guest writing features, Stephanie is also pursuing a book to take Snackdinner to the next level. Before she could do that, she needed a positive and punchy brand identity that was serious enough to support her research based methodology and set the stage for her book. She encourages her community to know that, with research, creativity, and practice, they can all be better critical thinkers and better parents.
Orange isn’t just Stephanie's favorite color, it’s one that sets her blog apart from the reds and blues in the rest of the parent blogosphere. “SD” isn’t just an abbreviation of snackdinner — it’s Stephanie's and her son’s initials. The round badge isn’t just a social media necessity, it’s a way of showing parenting as a process: you research, apply it with creativity, practice, and then start all over again. The bite of the logo is a nice callback to snacking, but also to parenting, which is always perfectly imperfect.
